The "Chambre de Métiers et de l'Artisanat " Training Section has developed a program of aid for craftsmen, their employees and family assistants, in order to allow them to:

- gain a certificate of qualification in their trade,
- keep abreast of technical and market developments in their trades and to keep up their skills-level, through advanced training,
- be trained to manage their companies (accounting, management, computer skills and data processing etc.),
- be trained to undertake company administration (secretarial work...).

To this end, training courses are regularly organised : preparatory course for setting up a business (32 h), longer business-creation courses (250 h), advanced courses in specific fields (management, legal, data processing...); longer courses leading to a qualification are also organised : certificates of competency such as "Brevet de Maîtrise" and "Brevet de Conjoint" and "Chef d'Entreprise Artisanale", and various other advanced courses and training periods.
