All those planning to transfer or to take up a small business can request a personal interview with the economic adviser.

A program of assistance for persons starting a business has been set up which includes :
- specialist services and advice,
- a specialised appraisal of the business plan,
- help in finding a potential buyer for the business,
- help and advice for the development of a project : legal, financial provisions, financing plan...
- a personalised follow-up service for the first year.

Some instruments have been put into place to achieve greater efficiency :
- advice leaflets providing precise answers to questions regarding legal, tax and social matters;
- a technical evaluation table, to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the business plan;
- a list of business opportunities also available at national level from the "Assemblée Permanente des Chambres de Métiers" (APCM);
- specialist training as required.
